• Fernando A. Miño, MBA. Master´s degree in Business and Public Sector Administration, Willamette University, Oregon and Linkoping University, Sweden; CPA, Pontifical Catholic University, Quito, Ecuador; specialist´s degree (six-year program) in commerce and productivity, Pontifical Catholic University, Quito, Ecuador; BA in business, Pontifical Catholic University, Quito, Ecuador. Fernando´s work experience includes companies in Ecuador, Colombia and the U.S. As a trainer, he has worked for General Motors, Ericsson, Produbanco, Israriego, Seguros Pichincha, Techniseguros, Salud and several of Ecuador´s main universities. He is the founder of Team Builders, a leading training company for professionals in Ecuador. He also started Kamaleon, a very successful internet company, focused on professional development, with operations in Quito, Guayaquil, Bogota and Medellin. In addition, Fernando is partner to a leading interactive media company in Ecuador. At present, he teaches Strategic Management at the Pontifical Catholic University in Quito.

  • Mauricio de la Torre, MBA. Master´s degree in Business Administration, Adolfo Ibáñez University, Viña del Mar, Chile; Latin American Business Perspectives course, St. Gallen University, St. Gallen, Switzerland; specialist´s degree (six-year program) in productivity, Pontifical Catholic University, Quito, Ecuador. He has worked for AIESEC, CEGO Group (Banco Agricola y de Comercio Exterior), Global Consulting Practicum, and Wharton Business School. Currently, he works as Manager of Business Development for Kamaleon Corp.

  • Pablo Ugarte, MBA. Master´s degree in Business Adminstration - Corporate Finance and Management Strategy, Willamette University, Salem, Oregon; B.A in Economics, Willamette University, Salem, Oregon. He has worked as New Business Development Director for Suasor Consulting in Washington State as well as a marketing analyst for Atkinson Business Services in Oregon. As part of the Nogales Consulting firm in La Paz, Bolivia, he assisted with the recent evaluation and revision of financial ratios used by the Bolivian banking system. Currently, he is the Business Development Manager for Kamaleon in Quito, Ecuador.

  • Fernando Miño-Garcés, Ph.D. Doctorate in Applied Linguistics, Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.; M.S. in Applied Linguistics, Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.; B.A. in Languages and Linguistics, Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, Quito. He has 30 years experience as a language and linguistics professor at the Pontifical Catholic University in Quito, among other institutions. Also, he has served as Dean of the School of Languages and Linguistics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, Quito and as the executive director for several university exchange programs, and acted as an educational consultant, among other relevant academic positions. Dr. Miño-Garcés has authored many books on bilingualism, and methodology and is the current Executive Director of ACLAS.

  • Patricia López, M.A. Master of Arts in Education, University of Alabama, Tuscalosa; B.A. in Languages and Linguistics, Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, Quito. She has 20 years of experience as a language and applied linguistics professor. Also, she has served as Language Department Director for the School of Languages and Linguistics at the Pontifical Catholic University and collaborated on several language teaching projects. She has wide experience in educational consultancy at all levels. Presently, she is the current Academic Director of ACLAS.

  • Gustavo Fierro, Ph.D. Doctorate in Applied Linguistics, Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.; M.A. in Applied Linguistics, University of California, Los Angeles; M.A. in Education, Western Michigan University; B.A. in Social Sciences, Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, Quito. He has over 35 years experience in teaching linguistics and languages and is currently a professor at the Universidad San Francisco in Quito.

  • Fanny Carrión, Ph.D. Doctorate in Literature, Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, Quito; M.Ed. in Public Health, University of California, Berkeley; B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature, Central University of Ecuador, Quito. Fanny has many years of experience teaching literature and Spanish as a second language. Also, she is the author of several books of poetry and articles on literary criticism. Her life-work involves fighting for human rights, children´s rights and gender and racial equality through award-winning poems, narratives and essays
